capracotta, Italy by bucci1Capracotta rupeThis is one of those Cities set on a mountain. Before snow and what they look like after snow. Well they have had a huge amount of snow come down on them, not the world record but a nice pile of snow. Capria Cotta is about 5 hours away from us. So south of Rome. First reports were 100 inches of snow in 18 hours, but reporters are now saying that was not true. High winds blew the snow around and caused the high drifts. Anyway you look at it, Lots of snow in a short amount of time in a area that is more warm than cold!... Single-Day Snowfall In Capracotta, Southern Italy; 78 INCHES OF SNOW
