We got to attend church with our Mission President and his wife and meet some new members.  This is Abraham and George , George has no coat on. I wanted to show our African members there are others also finding the gospel here in Italy. Abraham had his first birthday party in his whole life last week! It was a surprise and he just cried, no one had ever done such a nice thing for him. The Anziani had to show him how to blow out the candles on the cake-- never seen such a thing before!

 We got to meet up with Sorella Tingey who was in our branch less than 6 months ago as a greenie and she is now training! This is their investigator, They met her on the bus and she came to church today and stayed for all the meetings! She cried through the Sacrament meeting. The talks were all on the Savior's parables . Each spoke of something near and dear to her! The boy in the black jacket behind was just baptized and confirmed today along with a brand new baby blessing. She got to witness some wonderful priesthood ordinances. They all moved her deeply. 

We also got to sit by a woman who is here with her husband working on the temple, they are NOT members and they live in Mesa, Arizona. Her daughter died 8 years ago and she has no other children. BUT she too was feeling like she was being guided to the church. Her husband works with some very good men and so he has been interested in what makes them tick! She was in RS and the lesson was on the resurrection by President Hunter__ She too was moved by the meetings and knew what she was hearing was true, as she stated. We hear the Branch did very well as well. SO Good.
