Our docks are lined with yachts in for dry dock or in the protected harbors. This harbor is to the south.
On the sea side are these giant masses cement blocks, placed to break the waves.
On the other side of the dock, down a wall about 30, is the protected harbor. This is a barge used for shipping food products. This harbor is to the East.
The front of the barge.
This a flat top barge. It just appeared one day so we are not sure how it is used.
The white and blue ship is a Ferry the back end opens up, like a draw bridge, and cars drive into the the haul of the ship. You can reserve a berth for sleeping. This is in for repairs. We are on the top of the dock walls looking on to the ships.
The blue band is the level they are working on for now. There is a towel hanging out of the window that is being replaced.
