Say hello to our youngest person coming to church. Elliot is a fire cracker of energy and fun. He walks in and usually yells HELLO, Ciao! He then asks HOW ARE YOU, Come Stai! ( he is learning both languages so he uses both!) He runs and wants to touch everyone, he is not quite 2! Well when Vincenzo gets ahold of him that is the end. He works with him a such a gentle and sweet way, little Elliot melts away into the arms of Vincenzo!

So Elliot starts out squirmy, loud, hyper and ends....
It is the cuties thing to see! Vincenzo was given a BLINGY Tie! Sorry you cannot see it. It has jewels that line the strips and sequins that dot the rest!!! All the men are jealous!
We have started this garden 3 times. Planted seeds twice only to have them flooded out with all the rain we got and the third time we put plants in. A few days ago we had winds for two days that whipped the plants to --almost-- death. The planter by the rail is watermelon, they were coming along. the next is cucumbers they had started to climb up the rail and blossom, the next one were tomatoes and doing very well but we will see-- the last one, up against the wall are squash? We are really 3 stories up from the ground so no protection.
These trees line the street coming into town from  a different direction. They look like Lilacs, they smell wonderful but they are not Lilac Trees!

This is a common way to sell your goods. Most farmers just pull up to the side of the road and have a load of one thing in the back and sell it. Peas have been a hot selling veggie as well as artichokes lots and lots of artichokes!
The Festival has been going on and we heard we should take a look,  so on our way to a visit we walked through part of one section. It was still lunch brake time--- 1 to 4 or 5pm in the afternoon, so it was not busy. (These booths line the streets for over a mile and this is just part of town where there are festival street market stuff!)

We came to this display and I thought I would like to come back and look when we had time. I took the picture and was immediately approached by one of the men and he told me to show the picture--- I showed the picture and he pointed to his cheek and turned his finger with a smile. That meant it was okay.
On our way out I took this picture thinking she was a modern Gypsy.
From our visit to a members home that afternoon we found out the lady I took the picture of is from Ecuador and they live in Italy. Their son served a mission here in Italy and they all moved here!
