Cherry Tomatoes and Little bulb green pepper help make a tasty meal!
While we were at the District Picnic the couple who are taking lessons cooked this dish. It was made with wheat pasta so, we made it today to see how it tasted.
Put the pot of water on the stove with,
(will he put a fist full of salt in the pot) we put more salt then normal and three cloves of garlic peeled, & cut in half. Then added olive oil in the water (lots, several T spoons).
While that is getting ready to boil, sliced up an onion, and several cloves of garlic chopped and fried them in more olive oil, with salt and 1 green pepper. When that is sauteed and golden add the cherry tomatoes cut in half, put the cut part on the pan surface and cook for a couple of minutes, then press on the tomatoes and squeeze out the juice. When the pasta is cooked, drain and pour in the pan and fry up the combined ingredients. Add more olive oil to fry the pasta. Serve with a little cheese. It didn't look as red as theirs but we did not add all the red hot peppers. The dish is a new favorite. It is really good, quick and perfect for summer!
