This is the area we went to for our District Picnic -- Only one other Branch made the event so small in numbers, but big on fun. It was interesting because on one side of the road were private cabins/ winter homes, and on the other side was the National Park where we were.

We had three investigators with us for the activity and It was a good thing the one couple came. She prepared a great deal of the food and served everyone. She is standing at the end of the table with the propane tank which she used to cook pasta on.!
Her husband taught the Anziani a card game and their investigator.
Our District President, in a light blue shirt, was cooking up a storm on the grill. We were unsure of the meat, the Anziani told us it was dog.
A couple from the other branch and a couple from ours.

Water balloon toss; can't go wrong with that--- the guys loved it!

Then we did paper airplanes.
Then finished the games with watermelon. A treat the world around

We found tennis courts of gravel and a basketball court of tile!
Our fearless Leader waving us on , and his daughter about to knee down for pictures. She will receive her mission call this next week. She got a call telling her when it would arrive!
 The group!
Final thought and prayer by Presidente b before we Headed out. There had been threats of rain for a couple of hours, but it held off until after the prayer. Then while we were saying our good byes and more good byes and some more!!!! We kissed cheeks over and over--- People are so spread out and getting together is such a special treat --saying good bye is hard-- like family reunions! Anyway in our kisses good bye, the rain came down in earnest! Presidente B's favorite kind of ending, a thunderstorm.
