We have finished our inspections this week and that involved a little travel, Very little time and no pictures on that trip. We took the Sorella's with us and left early to complete the house checks and then attended a expanded district conference. Once again the Future Looks Bright. We have some amazingly good Missionaries out serving.
We had to make a quick return because I got a call from the Promesso Office. I needed to go in again, some of the paperwork was not approved by Rome. We got back to Crotone with 10 min. to spare, made our appointment on time, but there was the usual long line up. We went through the group, and waited inside the hallway. The Officers stand behind large glass windows and talk though cut out holes. We were very grateful the Officer who helped us before was there and when the line thinned out a bite he waved us forward(being tall and blonde HELPED). Not knowing what the problem was caused a little touch of the nerves. As it turns out my fingerprints did not show up well enough for Romes approval, and I needed to redo them. All is well now?? We hope.
We are slowly becoming acquainted with our neighbors. Saying 'Salve' to everyone is easy, remembering names and where they live is different. It is a work in progress.
Our English class grow a little more. One student works at the hospital and she has been encouraging some of the other nurses to come. She is over them, she says no arm twisting though. Another man showed up because he is out of work and felt the language skill would help him. Another man and his brother came, (we saw him at the Promesso helping other people by translating for them). So English will be a third language for him. we had 17. We had our bubble popped when we heard the town we visited this week has 2 classes with 20 in each.
One of the Parents from the class had their Baby Daughter last night, all went well. The Sister from Church will have 5 more babies to help get here safe this next 7 to 9 days.
We also have an appointment to return and deliver a Book of Mormon to her friend on Tuesday. So praying all those little ones make it safely here from Heaven.
Friday is Fresh Baked Gluten Free Day! We missed it last week with travel so we increased our order. The smaller rolls are a little different and a lot better, if that is possible, they are both way yummy!
We were out doing a visit and came across a car that was around when Presidente B was here back in the 60's. He was excited to see it in such good shape and have that fun memory.
If you notice the one side has businesses, the other side is one of the many ruins around not in use. Not sure the time frame but it is just a block away from us!
