The over sized, lawn mower looking machine is our mailman's vehicle to deliver mail in. We have now seen the postman 3 times since we have been here. Once on our street, here at the corner of the block where our church is and in our own apartment! We were told it is very risky to have mail delivered, by the locals, but there are mail people.
I'm not sure I will ever get used to seeing the beautiful marble lining the streets, buildings, steps, floors, walls, and everywhere else! Note the curbs, that is white marble, amazing!

This picture was taken by just turning around from where the postman was. Elder B is standing at the entrance to the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints. Graffiti is a huge problem all over Italy. I remember it from our first trip here some 30 years ago. It is shocking to see it on everything, but the marble is just sickening( it can't be painted over it has to be scrubbed off). The grey along the wall is marble.
This is the entryway to the church just 6 steps up, note all the colors of marble, floor, wall strips and walls.
And welcome to church! On the side of the door is a flyer for English Courses. We have gone up and down with attendance. The weather plays a large part in who shows up. Almost everyone walks to class, so the cold wind and rain do not encourage attendance. We have been told by those who attend, they will get an increase in salary if they can speak English. Tourism is a big source of income here in Italy. We also have students who are taking the classes so they can go and work in England. The European Union allows work anywhere but they do need to speak the language. We have a Guy who comes with his 2 sons, (maybe 8 and 10) so they can learn the language as well. His goal is to move to London to work. There will be better work and more opportunities for his sons, he has 3. I think I already told about him but the fact remains, there are few who see their future here. Another class member also travels back and forth from Italy to Germany and England for work. He will be gone for the next several months with his job to Germany. Elder B has been working with the Elders in the advanced class and they have been very impressed with the commitment and  efforts to learn and retain the information.
Tonight is class again and so far the weather is not too bad!
