We have a shop by us that is such fun to look at. The owner is a retired Surgeon. He and his brother own the building and have these a joining shops. 

He has everything from the early 18th  century to present.  It is hard to not want to pick up a few things. He was the one who found our clock we now have. 

He makes jewelry as a hobby and  it is awesome

I told him I was interested in silverware, he called to say he had found an early 18th century set.

We went over to see it. As we were looking at it ( another seller brought it) Our Doctor shook his head-- no good --- We were told it was Ivory and solid sliver BUT no, neither , bone and stainless steel, from the 1930's not the 18th century. Our friend was pretty unhappy with the seller.
