I forgot some of the shots we got Sunday, Sorella Waddoups bought me a DRAGON shirt as modeled in front of the school across the street from church.
Here are our team of missionaries and some visitors. The visitors are from Cosenza when he serves as the District President , Their oldest daughter needed to come for a mission interview with President Waddoups. She is in the orange skirt. She speaks English and really hopes to come to the USA on her mission, I told her Colorado would be perfect! ( President Waddoups got a call from one of the sister missionaries and wanted to take her call.)

The Sorelle version of "Someday My Prince Will Come".

These are the Jewelers who created a silver plate of the Rome Temple for us, It turned out very well!

This is our Music part of the Blog
Our ward party was a Karaole, lots of fun for most everyone, Not so comfortable for others. The Sorelle were brave and started the evening off!
These two sisters have great voices and they were fun to listen to and watch!

We got together and sang "Someday My Prince Will."

Our Anziani are great helps and I just missed their performance.

You will want to see this, Presidente Bullock singing , in his Elvis voice " I can't Help Falling in Love With You".

This Sorella feed us gluten free food !! She is a wonderful cook! The salad was made with rice as the base and olive oil as the sauce, Sorry you can't try it --- it was really good!
This is a side dish,  it is cantalope  wrapped in prosciuto( very thin slices of ham prepared for over 2 years) with mozzarella cheese and mint on top.
My tutor is holding these gluten free unsweetened donuts fried and then stuffed with ham and cheese VERY yummy!
This is dessert--cherries, fresh figs and apricots.
These are beans, we see them all over fresh or canned, the Bean looks just like the pod. They are pink and look like they were tie died.
Here are some new foods for us, tinny pears, a fresh fig peeled and opened, and a almond peeled and cracked opened.
President and Sorella Waddoups came and they showed us some new points of interest in our town. Sorella Waddoups is standing by a fig tree on top of our castle!
The clip is something that happened at the end of our street. Total surprise!

This is a strike--- we think--- we waited to get through and were in a GREAT hurry to get the Anziani to the main train station an hour and half away and we had NO extra time.
Two of our missionaries who started their missions here in Crotone were transferred and had to come back to get their promessos ( License to Teach and Preach). The Sorelle were shown in right away at the office ( Mostly to protect them from the mob of men) but were then denied, they needed more paper work. The Anziani waited over two hours and were in danger of missing the train ,when all at once they were shown in and given their promesso. " Miracle One " The Sorelle were at our apartment with us trying to figure our how to fix their problem when the Anziani called to ask if we could drive over and pick them up and drive the hour and half to the train-(Which we had planned on earlier but determined they would miss it)---They were hoping to make all their connection! We dropped everything --- the Sorelle cleaned up the apartment and locked up for us while we took off--- It really took team work to run out the door in 10 minutes! -- They made sandwichs, and snacks for the trip in record time!!!!!!!!!!!! Those ladies are amazing! The Anziani had almost 12 hours on trains and boats to get to their next location, they needed some food to take along!
Clear roads and a new route Presidente B found saved 10 minutes and so we made it in record time---- we took PICTURES.

Both of these Anziani had to get their promessos, but they were in opposite parts of the mission and out on the island of Sicily.

On our way to ZONE CONFERENCE --- we pass these Vineyard that run right down to the sea.
This Anziano welcomed us into Crotone our first day! He is the one who saved me from the would be purse snatchers, because he had a feeling he should see if I needed help! YES!
He will be BYU's next major BB Star. (He was before as well.)
Our Zone Sorelle--- We will send 2 home next week.
This castle is right next to the road and almost in the sea. It is shocking to see it jet out of no where as you come around a bend.
The next three pictures are of RICE PADDIES! Really, who would have thought of rice growing in Italy!

Another Miracle, after working through some of the problems with the paperwork which involved some other sorelle sending documents -- and watching the shipping order bounce around all over the country, we got the documents this morning. Presidente decided to accompany them to the police station for their promesso. First of all, they do this work ONLY on Monday morning__ And you don't want to mess with one of the police woman in charge of lining people up and shoving them through. Today was Wednesday ---  Every time! we have gone there has been a large crowd almost entirely men.
These sorelle needed to get back to their area and not wait another full week. We followed Ester's example -- (well no time to fast) by praying and enlisting the faith and prayers of the other missionaries in the zones. Talk about being prepared to go down into the LION"S DEN , that is kind of what we thought we would face. That police women is harsh, but very good at her job.
We walked over to the station, many men were lined up out side but not to go in that building. We walked right through the gates-- right into the  office and Presidente B explained the problem and the officer said let me see what I can do. He got permission to give her, her paperwork and in 10 MINUTES she had her Promesso! That is a major Blessing just like Ester's was. No one has been able to do that in 10 minutes in the entire mission! We handed the policemen 4 large candy bars and THANKED him!!! We never saw the policewoman!
We made the train station , the same one as the Anziani , in record time and had 30 minutes to spare!
Sorry to see her off but that was just unbelievable for she and her comp, to get back to their area today.
We have seen these flowers mostly in Roma but ran across them on our way home after the train connection. They are like large bells

Aren't they beautiful, we have seen them mostly white and yellow but found some orange ones close by these yellows ones, well a couple of blocks away!
This sister had been transferred before the baptism but it all worked out for her to be there for the wonderful day.
Just another look at our favorite place to walk.
 Crotone's Castle-- amazing!

We are hoping the South Carolina kids remember this tree, we found one like it on one of our rambles through the woods. They line one of the streets to the sea here.
 Our newest member in Crotone!

Headed to the sea for our baptism.
Our three most recent members, and the Sorelle.

 The path down.

Just as we were walking back up a wedding was headed down and a quad copter was filing the event.
The Sorelle and one of the witnesses.

Father's Day would not be complete without TIES
