We have been told of this zoo safari for sometime and so we went to see it, on our way we came across the Trulli  homes just a couple of hundred years old.

 It's just that they are so unique and cleverly made. The original ones fall down with the push of a area in the wall. Made to hide from enemies and tax collectors. 

 The trulli were made out of rock because that is what the area is made of, rock with a sprinkle of dirt, but the olive trees thrive on it.

 We stayed in a hotel in the mountain, and as you can see the mountains just drop to the sea.

 This is Taranto, the sea all around Taranto has fish farms, The black floating bobs in the sea are sectioned out like  on a land farm.

 We will say good bye to Sorella Valencia this next transfer. She heads home and she has been a power house of energy and dedication. 

 This is the Lahadaren's, they are from Great Falls, Montana.

 These tiny pompoms represent woman and grow on trees. Never understood why, but they come out during the month of March and March is women's month here.

The yellow trees are ALL over ! in the hill, town, & mountains.

 The Plan was to color Easter Eggs and we found some white eggs, that is the third time we have seen white eggs since we have been here! Most are the darker brown color-- We paid good money to get theses BUT still it is hard to find WHITE ones.

 Our week was full of Tomaso it was a long painfully slow week for the members of the family. He was almost always conscience and even morphine did not help him. These are some of the men from the branch headed to the grave dedication.

 This Sorella Zito , she is a rock of dedications and patience --- she is still waiting for her much needed surgery to remove her Gall badder . still no date has been set and she is a melting away with not eating fats, oil and dairy --- the main staples of Italy.

 This is the Day after EASTER everything was closed! That was really surprising! The day after is a bigger holiday than EASTER?

 All the shops are on the ground level and as you can see, every shop is closed!

 WE were visiting a member's home , they have family in England and while there, they were visiting old churches --- Well they took pictures of some of the family Crests and this one was BULLOCKS --  I took a picture of his picture so not too good but you can read Benjamin Bullock towards the bottom.
